Project:

Development of content for an e-learning tool on records management in museums

Details:

This assignment formed part of the Renaissance initiative’s Hub Records Project. Renaissance is the Museums Libraries and Archives Council's (MLA) ground-breaking programme, investing in and transforming regional museums. As part of the Hub Records Project, the London Museums Hub awarded Information Matters™ with the contract to develop content for an e-learning tool on records management awareness for the Hub and its partner museums. The tool is used as part of museum induction programmes and for refresher training for existing staff, delivered via museum intranets and/or as a standalone tool. The tool received widespread praise, and was launched at a London event by the Chief Executive of The National Archives.

The tool is available online at: http://www.museuminfo-records.org.uk/resources/RMe-tool/
